OUR GOAL
We plan to sell our first batch of 1,800 pairs of Palau Socks, in order to make 4,500€ in profit, which will be donated in its entirety to BarcelonActua.
BARCELONACTUA
BarcelonActua is a foundation whose mission is to cover social needs of groups in vulnerable situations through the mobilisation of citizens. They mainly help the elderly, children and teenagers, women, refugees and humanitarian immigrants and homeless people in Barcelona.
OPEN ARMS
Open Arms is a non-governmental, non-profit organization whose main mission is to protect, by having a presence at sea, those people who try to reach Europe fleeing from war, persecution or poverty. Born from a rescue and first aid at sea company with extensive experience in the Spanish coasts.
FUNDACIÓ ARRELS
Arrels is a foundation that accompanies and orientates homeless people who live on the streets of Barcelona, giving priority attention to those who have lived on the streets for years and find themselves in the most vulnerable situations.
HOMELESS ENTREPRENEUR
Homeless Entrepreneur provide homeless people with community, knowledge, resources, tools and dignity to help them become the professionals they were before, be it as an employee, entrepreneur, or business owner. They believe having an entrepreneurial spirit is the best way to become an active citizen again.
FUNDACIÓ COMTAL
Fundación Comtal believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop themselves without being limited or limited by the context in which they were born. For this reason, it encourages education and socially integrates vulnerable children and young people in the Old Town of Barcelona.
